How we started and where we're going
Pata Scholarship was founded by a group of Kenyan educators and tech entrepreneurs who witnessed firsthand how talented students were missing out on scholarship opportunities due to lack of information and complicated application processes.
We launched our digital platform, making it easier for students to discover and apply for scholarships. In our first year, we helped 1,200 students secure over KES 150 million in scholarships.
We expanded our partnerships to include over 30 scholarship providers and introduced features like application tracking, document management, and personalized scholarship recommendations.
We're proud to serve over 12,500 students across all 47 counties in Kenya. Our platform now features 50+ scholarship opportunities, and we're expanding to include mentorship programs and career guidance services.
